Construction begins on our new outside patio and bar!

This is how our patio bar area once proudly looked.  Remember the great times we had there?

Well it is now gone...only to reappear soon... bigger and better.

The project includes pouring a new concrete pad for the patio, installing new windows and doors in the outside wall, and building a new larger bar that will be covered with a roof.  In the end everyone should be more comfortable inside the restaurant and the new bar will offer more variety of beers and cocktails, while we sit in the shade of the new roof.

We expect the project to be completed in 5 weeks and open for the first day of Spring.

Week 1: September 21 -25

The furniture was removed and the old concrete slab removed.

Week 2: Sept. 28-Oct. 2

The foundation trenches were dug by hand & underground utilities installed

Week 3: Oct. 5- Oct. 9

The footings were poured and the block foundation wall was started

Week 4: Oct. 12-Oct. 16

The new bar rises from the earth and the plumbing goes in

Week 5: Oct. 19-23

On the 32nd Anniversary of Stuff Yer Face

new concrete pads were poured behind the bar and in the rear patio area

Week 6: Oct.26-30

Hurray, the new concrete is finished!

Looking good, now we start on the new windows and doors

Week 7: Nov.  2-6

There was a flurry of activity this week...

carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and roofers.

One half of the old wall has been rebuilt and the roof over the bar is underway!

Week 8: Nov. 9-13

The roof over the new bar is completed, all the new windows are in, and the roof is shingled

Week 9: Nov. 16-20

Our new handicap & delivery ramp is complete.  The new dining room wall is paneled.

Week 10: Nov. 23-27

All cleaned up.  Posts for bar roof are installed.  Painting is underway.

Week 11: Nov. 30- Dec. 4

Painting is continued, new fans installed over the bar, and vinyl siding for the building.
